EMPOWERWEB was created by Streetcats Foundation in 1994 as a prime resource on the 'Net for non-profit groups, those who work with (or would like to work with) non-profit groups, and those looking to volunteer with or find out about some of the more progressive resources in America.

A completed update of EMPOWERWEB was begun in May, 1998, to update resources and add new features, including news, chat, and forums. New resources will be added each quarter.

Streetcats Foundation also offers its own low-cost resources for non-profit groups, including booklets on how to start a non-profit organization, how to write letters of intent for grants, how to find appropriate grants, and how to do community fundraising. These booklets are $3.00 each. We also offer a very low-cost, easy and effective grant search you can get details on below.
